Билли Юджин Бэрроуз, известный под псевдонимом Билли Драго, родился в Техасе (США). Учился в Канзасском университете. По происхождению он - индеец, и первые его роли на телевидении и в кино были ролями индейцев. На сцену Билли вышел еще во время обучения в колледже, а после его окончания устроился диск - жокеем. Потом он работал каскадером в Додж - сити. Затем актер стал сниматься на телевидении, среди его работ - сериалы ''Хилл - стрит блюз'' и ''Охотник''. В кино он снимался в ''Неприкасаемых'' (в роли Фрэнка Нитти), во ''Вторжении в США'' (1985) и ''Имя ему смерть'' (''Pale rider'').
